Get fully acquainted with the city
Visit extensively Venice in one day.
The tour starts with a private boat ride from the bus or train station or, on request, from your hotel. Your first approach to Venice is from the water, the best and real way to get acquainted with this unique city. After lunch the guide leads you to the bridge of Rialto, the main bridge in town, the only one spanning the Grand Canal in the past. This area was the centre for commerce at the time of the Republic and it is the lively marketplace of the Venetians today.
The tour ends in the square of St. Mark, the very heart of Venice, the can't-miss highlight in town. Your guide gives you a detailed description of its main monuments and leads you into the magnificent church of St. Mark for a breathtaking view on its golden mosaics.
