Through this tour you will get to know some of the world's most famous pieces of art housed in the two most important museums of Florence, the Uffizi and the Accademia Galleries.

Itinerary

This tour includes a 2 hour visit to the Uffizi Gallery, which offers some of the most famous paintings of all times like Botticelli's Birth of Venus, Leonardo da Vinci's Annunciation, Michelangelo's Holy Family, Titian's Venus of Urbino and other works by famous masters as Cimabue, Giotto, Paolo Uccello, Filippo Lippi, Raphael and Caravaggio. We will have a little time to rest a bit and have a cappuccino. Then we will get to the Academia Gallery, the home to Michelangelo's David, the most famous statue in the world! My explanation will include a detailed introduction to Michelangelo's life and his extraordinary period.
