A selection of paintings and sculptures from the Medici collection
The Uffizi Gallery houses some of the most important examples of Renaissance art anywhere. It is also home to the biggest collection of Roman statuary outside of Rome.
This wealth of paintings and sculpture, collected over the centuries by the Medici dynasty, is here for us to admire. For all of this, we have one person to thank above all others: Anna Maria Luisa de Medici, sister of last of the Medici Grand Dukes. We owe to her our presence at the Uffizi, in the Palatine Gallery and in the Medici villas.
It is therefore fitting that any visit to the Uffizi should start by viewing a portrait of this grande dame situated in the entrance hall of the Uffizi Museum.
Before entering the Uffizi, a brief introduction will be made in order to set the stage for a tour of the Museum itself. The visit itsef is a trip back through time, where to admire the masterpieces of Medieval, Renaissance and post-Renaissance art, including, of course, the Birth of Venus by Botticelli, Leonardo Da Vinci's Annunciation, Michelangelo's Doni Tondo, the Venus of Urbino by Tiziano, and lots more.

Great tour with Manolis. Would have never understood works of art at Uffizi without him. Perfectly customized to highlight the must see pieces. With his sense of humor he made the hours fly by. Would highly recommend him
