From Rome to the Renaissance
On this 3 to 3. 5 hour walking tour, in the city's historic center, we'll discover the secrets and treasure that have made Florence so intriguing and famous through out the world. We'll discover the ancient Roman roots of the city, visit medieval and renaissance palaces, ancient churches, the Old Bridge, as we stroll through the streets and history of the city. You'll see all the "must see" places.
Please note that we can customize the tour -starting at almost any time of the day.
Our tour will take us to Repubblica Square, Orsanmichele Church and the medieval Wool Guild building, the new market, the Davanzati Palace, the Strozzi Palace, the Via Tuornabuoni, the Church of the Holy Trinity and Ghirlandaio's marvelous frescos, the Old Bridge, the Signoria Square with Old Palace and a view of the Uffizi building, the medieval streets, the Cathedral Square with Duomo, bell tower, Brunelleschi's famous dome and the Baptistry.

This walking tour's regular itinerary does not have extra fees that need to be paid.
If you would like to customize the tour, there maybe extra fee for entry tickets.

There may be fees if you choose to modify the itinerary to include a venue with a ticket or need radio/whispers. We can discuss this at the time of booking.
all entry fees to monuments and museums are extra, and will need to be paid at the moment of the entry, if not otherwise specified.
On the Rome to the Renaissance tour there are no extra fees in the regular itinerary.
Please note that for larger groups it may be advisable to rent a "whisper" system ( radio earphones ).
