Floating Market - Bridge over the River Kwai - JEATH war museum - War Cemetery
This is a full day private tour that covers the highlights Kanchanaburi and Damnoen Saduak floating market. First stop off the day is the floating market, followed by exploring Bridge over River Kwai and surroundings.
In the early morning at 7:30AM, we meet and greet at your hotel. Today we will discover that life on the water is another side of Thailand. Goods are bought and sold on boats. One of the authentic Floating Markets is Damnern Saduak in Ratchaburi. You will board a fast long tail boat, which will bring you through the narrow klongs to the market. From here you will see many small boats, where the Thai people try to sell their goods. Some Thai people even prepare food on their boat.
Our next stop is Kanchanaburi, where lunch will be served. Afterwards we will visit a cemetery and the JEATH war museum in Kanchanaburi, to get an impression of the poor circumstances of the Asian convicts and European prisoners during the construction of the Burma railway. Of course we will also go see the Bridge over the River Kwai. After that we go back to your hotel in Bangkok.
