Experience authentic Italy!

Spend a day cooking with us and an expert lady in Abruzzo countryside! She will teach you all the secrets of authentic Italian regional cuisine!
Enjoy what you cooked with a good glass of Abruzzo wine and a homemade espresso coffee.
Take photos of the stunning Calanchi while we drive to the gorgeous little village of Atri, full of history and art, where we will indulge in a walk and a gelato for the afternoon.

Itinerary

You will need to arrive to Abruzzo with a bus (please specify in your email if you would like us to come pick you up by minivan or to help you with the tickets). You will arrive in Val Vomano at around 11:00am. A 15-minute drive and we will start our day with a tasting of typical Abruzzo antipasto in the countryside, where you will meet nonna Emilia and start getting ready for your cooking class. You will learn how to prepare two typical recipes and then you will eat your lunch with a good glass of Abruzzo wine. We will have some time for a homemade espresso and relax in sunny Italian countryside. We will leave at about 3/3:30pm for the enchanting village of Atri, where you will be amazed by its beautiful old centre, with its cathedral and theatre. Why don't we indulge in a gelato and a visit to a candy shop to buy some of Atri's famous licorice? Take pictures of Calanchi Natural Reserve while we drive you back to Val Vomano, where you will take the bus to Rome at around 6:00pm.
