Kid Friendly: Yes. It is child and pet friendly but it is recommended they be well behaved and under voice control, following directions for the safety of all.
Parts of Eldorado Canyon can be viewed from a wheelchair but it is not conducive for hiking.

We will meet in Boulder where I will transport you to the beauty of Eldorado Canyon! You will see rock climbers, ancient burned out hotels, incredible views of towering sandstone cliffs as well as Boulder valley. On rare occasions, you may even see a mountain lion! Or you can lunch beside Boulder Creek.
May - September it is not recommended to book this tour on the weekends due to high crowds and little parking. If weekend tour is necessity in the summer, an EARLY start will be required in order to obtain parking.
Dogs are welcome everywhere in the park as long as:
~They are on a six foot or shorter leash at all times
~Their waste is properly disposed of
We will meet in Boulder, Colorado.
A half day photography tour of Eldorado Canyon has four trail options:
#1 - The Streamside Trail is the shortest (. 5 mile one way) and follows close to the sides of the creek and canyon walls.
#2 - The Fowler Trail takes you . 7 miles (one way) and provides great views of the canyon.
#3 - The Rattlesnake Gulch Trail is more difficult, traveling 1. 4 miles up to the ruins of the Crags Hotel that burned to in 1912. Another trail goes from the hotel another . 8 mile loop and features a view of Colorado's continental divide.
#4 - The Eldorado Canyon Trail is the longest, 3. 5 miles (one way), eventually intersecting with the Walker Ranch Loop Trail.
Meeting Location + Tour Duration
Meeting location: We will meet at the Mesa Trail South Trail Head off of 170 near Boulder, CO. Or upon request, traveler pick up from Denver is available for an additional fee.
End location: I will return you to the pick up point.
Duration: 4 hours
We need to descend from high points prior to 11 am.
I will provide transportation from the Mesa Trail South Trail Head through Eldorado Canyon and back to your vehicle.
Unopened bottled drinks are available in a cooler. Backpacks are recommended as is dressing in layers. Transportation through park as well as park entrance fee.
Certain tours are seasonal only due to closed mountain roads.
Pets may not be welcome as they are not allowed on trails inside many park areas.
I can accommodate up to 3 adults comfortably in my vehicle. Larger parties, please inquire.
