In search of Ancient Art and Spirit Animals
Explore the secrets of the Sani Valley on this hike through the lower Drakensburg Mountains in search of millennia-old Bushmen Rock Art. This moderate to strenuous, 8 hour hike consists of light walking and a few steep inclines but no climbing.
The hike will be guided by an experienced Bushman and Birding expert who will walk you through the history of the Bushmen in South Africa and the meaning of the paintings.

On return, we will stay at the Sani Valley Backpackers Lodge in private, en-suite Rondavels with a 3 course dinner and full breakfast on the morning before our departure back to Durban.
Meeting Point + Tour Duration
Meeting Point Options: Rail or Bus Station, Cruise Ship Port, Airport, Hotel, Address or Intersection, Monument/Building, Suggested by Guide: I will pick up and drop from a central location in Durban. An extra fee will be added for picking up or dropping off at locations more than 20km outside the city.

Inclement weather may affect the hike, this we have no control over. You may request to stay a day longer to complete the hike.
