Welcome to Fukuoka, then go to Dazaifu. Dazaifu is the main tourist destination in Fukuoka. You will feel ancient capital atomosphere as well as quiet sophistcated Zen meditation in this tour.
Umegaemochi, traditional Japanese sweet cannot be missed. You can walk along the shrine street, munching the sweet just from the oven.
It is also nice cycling around the ancient capital ruins.
