Culinary tour of New Orleans with history from a culinary perspective
Delicious & unique food, it's one of the things that defines New Orleans! We have a distinct cuisine here, and I will share the history of New Orleans from a culinary perspective. We'll visit the historic French Market and walk to other locations in the French Quarter. Gumbo, raw oysters, char broiled oysters, muffaletta, crawfish étouffée, crabmeat cheesecake (it's savory!) bananas foster, beignets - not all of them, off course! We'll make choices based on your tastes. I can accommodate some dietary restrictions, but know that New Orleans cuisine tends to have a lot of seafood & pork.
Together we will decide what tasty delights you will sample. We will be sure to go to the French Market as part of our outing.
