On a cruise stopping by Hong Kong for a day?
Are you sick of the land excursions organized by the cruise?
Do you think the tours sold by the ship are over priced?
Don't want to hang out with a big group and want to do something different to them?
I have taken out cruisers before and loved what I do, making them very proud in comparison with what the group did for the day as my tours are custom made to tailor my specific group and that I also take my group to the off beaten track where no other tourists would have thought of.
Depending on the length of your transit, I can organize how we're going to do for the day. I have had met cruise transit passengers and they generally need to spend about 6 hours out of their ship. There are plenty to do with 6 hours in Hong Kong and that with my guidance, I can show you the off beaten track, especially on how us locals live and work and also a chance for you to experience our world famous local appetite.
And of course, if you have any preference or something that you have heard of and would like to see or do, please let me know and I shall take care of that.
I am local, young, energetic and very flexible, just communicate with me first so I can organize. And rest assured, there is always something to do or see in Hong Kong no matter what your preferences.
We will begin from the side of the ship where everybody exits at the arrivals hall and I will take you right back to the same door at the end of the tour.
Meeting Location + Tour Duration
Meeting location: Side of the ship where everybody exits
End location: The same door where you exit the ship
Duration: 4 hours
Just a note that my tours are walking tours, however we do travel on public transport between some locations which will for sure be more fun than sitting in a standard coach tour and is all part of the authentic Hong Kong experience.
If vehicles are required, I can drive for extra USD$100
Note: if you are planning to come over between May and October, I would recommend you to wear something breezy and confortable as it will be hot and humid.
Service of course!
I offer tailored local tours for groups of up to 8 people.
Depending on your requests I can customize your itinerary to a tour that suits you, to your best interests, no matter if you have difficulties on some activities, need to make special arrangements for your kids, you name it… yet the best thing is that we can alter on any minute to make you feel enjoyable and comfortable during the whole course.
The concept of my tour is to show how us locals live and commute here, what our everyday lives are like to experience the location. We will be commuting by foot, public transport (subways and bus) and taxis, rest assured, our world renowned public transport system by cleanliness and efficiency will surely take you by surprise. As by "toursbylocals" culture, everyone has a story to tell and you will never go wrong hanging out with a local.
I look forward to take you out to see Hong Kong!
P. S. Tours I give out will be my recommendations however the actual tour will be custom designed to yo

If you are in Hong Kong for 3 days or more, I would recommend you to get a local "Octopus" card which is a top up card with credit inside to pay for most transports, vending machines, convenient stores, Starbucks, and many more chain stores. Really friendly, and took lots of pictures for us. Took us to cool local places, and a great restaurant. Felt like a local! Jacky was on time, and he was great!
