As a native Dane - and combined with my guide diploma from the University of Roskilde - I'm keen to let the vibrant Danish capital come alive to you. I really like to pass on my fascination with Copenhagen - and to deliver it all with a lively sense of humor. Yes, I'm a laid-back person. ☺
The city is steeped in history and maybe you want me to focus on, say, the old Vikings, the intriguing palaces or the royal family. But you may also be interested in hearing about Danish society in general and Danish everyday life in particular, e. g. themes like our welfare state, the political system, urban planning, architecture, our transport strategies (including the ubiquitous bicycles) or our green sustainability goals. Or maybe you simply want some good advice on shopping, dining or relaxing.
I prefer to show you Copenhagen by foot or by bicycle - although I also do customized tours by private car. But my compact city is best suited for walking or bike tours, optionally combined with public transport. Oh - and I'm a dedicated runner - so I even do "sight-running", at your preferred pace. ☺
I just love my city and my job as an authorized guide - and I hope that my passion will spill over so that you'll never forget your stay in Copenhagen, however brief it may be.
One size fits all? No, no, please feel free to contact me with your ideas of an ideal visit to Copenhagen. Let's connect! See you!
