Discover Alaska's premier sport fishing river
A journey down the Seward highway that Life magazine calls one of the 12 most scenic highways in the world. On your right will be the Turnagain Arm with its dramatic tides and perhaps even a whale. On the left, shear mountains the highways are carved into that abruptly stop at the water's edge.
Visit the ski village of Girdwood and environs, continue down the Seward highway to Cooper Landing, where the Russian river feeds into the Kenai river one of the greatest salmon-bearing rivers in the world and watch anglers vie for position in catching an Alaskan salmon.
