Santiago with all senses on!
Santiago has a lot to offer and that includes art and architecture. Stories that go back in time. . but something survived the passing of time; the love for quality in wines and freshness in food that we will detect in our promenade in the medieval cobbled streets of the old town.
In morning weekdays tour we will visit the traditional market - Plaza de Abastos - with its traders - in many occasions producers, harvesters, butchers and fishmongers selling their fresh vegetables, fruit, local cheeses, seafood from the coast.
To taste and enjoy some great Galician wine and some local appetizers we will stop in a classic wines bar in the historical town. A nice moment to relax and have a good time. I will have the pleasure to suggest the best lunch or dinner options.
History, legends, myths and some wine in Santiago will make of this an unforgettable experience!
We are going to take a pleasant walk through Santiago alleys and Obradoiro and Platerias square. We are gonna reach the local Markey (from tuesday to saturday morning) to see what galician people have in food tradition. Afterwards we will go to a nice classic café where we are going to taste some galician wine with appetizers.

Italo is knowledgeable, caring and provided a tour which ticked all our boxes. We learnt much and had so much fun on the way. He catered for my husbands disability with care and consideration. I would have no hesitation in recommending his services, in fact, I would say a must on any visit to Santiago de Compostela!
