Colosseum, Roman Forum & Palatine Hill Tour
What's the best way to explore an archaeological site? With an archaeologist like me, of course!
Come see the Colosseum, the Roman Forum and the Palatine hill, and I'll show you all the hidden secrets of those fascinating sites. I spent years studying archaeology, and I'm still involved in archaeological research. I have dug in the Roman Forum, and even did my training here and top of the Palatine Hill.
I'll be happy to share what I've learned with you.
Meeting location: Pick up at your hotel (if in Rome city center). If it's not, the meeting point will be in front of the "Colosseo" metro station. I'll meet you under the tree that's near the green kiosk on the right of the train station entrance. I'll have a sign with your name on it.
End location: The tour will end in the Colosseum area.
We will see the beautiful archaeological sights where I worked during my university years and later: the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, and the Palatine Hill.
I'll show you the place where I dug (and maybe broke a few things I should not have broken). . . and I'll explain all the main sights of this incredible archaeological area.

I am so happy we scheduled this private tour. Our guide was very accommodating when our son got sick and we had to wait for a doctor to come to the hotel. It was so nice to go to the lower level and see the elevators up close and image what chaos was going on below the colosseum during an exhibition. He was very knowledgeable and made it fun. I highly recommend.
