From Civitavecchia port to the discovering of an Italian Renaissance masterpiece
This tour will allow you to discover one of the most representative monument of Tuscia: the Farnese palace of Caprarola, a great example of villa of the late Renaissance marked by great formal gardens and rooms painted by the main artists of the Italian Mannerism. In Viterbo instead you'll have the chance to admire the superb Palace of the Popes dating back to the XIII century, the romanesque cathedral and the medieval historic centre with fountains, towers and little very picturesque streets.
This is a private tour meant to accommodate your needs and schedule. Through email, we can work on the itinerary if you have any special requirements.
The tour will start with the visit of the palace and its gardens and, after lunch in a typical restaurant will move to Viterbo passing through the natural environment of the volcanic Lake of Vico.

Danila was prepared and very informative. She had good knowledge of Etruscan history and local knowledge and history of the area. Danila was engaging, asking about Canada and telling us a little about herself. The driver was punctual on picking us up and getting us around.
