A fun and light-hearted tour, an extraordinary garden, and one of the World Monuments Fund's top 100 most endangered sites.
Il Parco dei Mostri, also known as the Villa of Marvels, is a beautifully designed garden and woodland dating back to the 16th century. The garden is populated with giant statues, obelisks, animals, and monsters, all created from stone. Bring a picnic and dine in the mouth of an Ogre, or take a walk to discover elephants, dragon slayers, and mythical creatures from the deep.
Founded two and a half thousand years ago by the Etruscans, today the tiny hilltop village of Civita di Bagnoregio is a precious and protected site. An island in the sky, the village sits on a plateau from which many of the residents fled following an earthquake at the end of the 17th century. Today, the crumbling plateau has been reinforced and once again offers people an unspoiled and simple way of life.
My tour outlines are ideas of what you can see and experience, but you're individual, and so tours can be tailored to include all, or selected places of interest, please, just ask.

Tatiana is a fantastic guide. We enjoyed the trip immensely. Bomarzo was out of this world! Lunch, olive mill visit and Civita di Bagnoregio made the day magical. One we will not forget.
