New Orleans History & Evergreen Plantation
Enjoy the history and culture as you drive through some of the most interesting and beautiful neighborhoods of New Orleans.
You will also head upriver to Evergeen Plantation. Evergreen Plantation is the most intact plantation complex in the South with 37 buildings on the National Register of Historic Places.
Evergreen has its country's highest historic designation and joins Mount Vernon and Gettysburg in being granted landmark status for its agricultural acreage.
I will pick you up at a preset location. We will drive and do a tour of New Orleans on the way to Evergreen. I will tell you the rich history of New Orleans . This will give you a better understanding of the plantation. Once we arrive at the planation you will have an hour guided tour and then you will have about an hour to explore the grounds. You will see;

Ursuline Convent (Oldest building in the Mississippi valley)
St Charles Ave
Majestic Oak Alleys
