Learn about the more than 480 years of the city's history plus the Whale Museum!
The charming city of La Paz is known for its fabulous sunsets and for its picturesque boardwalk. In the afternoon when the boardwalk comes to life with many families, your guide takes you on stroll alongside the bay of La Paz where many of the main attractions are located. The boardwalk's iconic statues relate to essential aspects of the city's history and idiosyncrasy and your guide brings the history back to life. The exhibition Codex Peninsula at the Cultural Centre of La Paz is an excellent introduction of what caracterizes the state of Baja California. Other attractions include a marine life mural by Wyland and the old lighthouse. You'll also visit the Museum of the Whale: La Paz' newest attraction hosts Latin Americas's largest collection of original marine mammal skeletons including complete Orca, Humpback, Finback, Sperm and even a complete Blue Whale skeleton! After the visit we'll take you back to your hotel and on the way there we'll take you for a short stop at the main square of La Paz.
