Hina doll festival and cherry blossom viewing
Kaho traditional Japanese Kabuki theater was originally built to entertain coal miners because Izuka area used to be the busiest coal-mining town in Japan. In this tour we do NOT see any performance, but this theater itself is the architectural art. Visiting this theater transports you back in time to the nostalgic Showa period(1926-1989).
Fukuoka castle ruins are famous as a cherry blossom viewing place to which many locals flock and enjoy drinking and singing while viewing beautiful cherry blossoms.
