The Perfect Mix of Locals and Tourists Spots!
Let's talk a walk through some of the newest hot spots in the city that even the locals can't stay away from! We will start at Chelsea Market, home to some great eats, great shops and just a really cool spot to walk around. It is always bustling with activity!
Then we will head up to the High Line, the city's abandoned elevated rail tracks that were spared demolition and turned into a beautiful park. The High Line is always packed with tourists and true New Yorkers. We will walk uptown, enjoying some beautiful architecture including the best of the old and the new.
Finally, we arrive at Manhattan's latest gem, the shiny, new Hudson Yards. Home to some really interesting sights including a flexible new performing arts venue with a movable roof, the already famous outdoor climbable structure, the Vessel! The new viewing platform, the Edge will be open in March!
After a climb in the Vessel you can enjoy some tasty treats in Little Spain, the creation of famous chef José Andrés.
We will see:
-The High Line
-Hudson Yards (Vessel, the Shed, The Edge from the ground, Little Spain)
NOTE: If you want to go in the Vessel, tickets are free but must be reserved in advance. They can sometimes be reserved a day before but it can book up. The earlier you book the better! Tickets to the Edge are at various prices, starting at $36 for adults and must be booked in advance. Tickets to the Edge are not included in this price and are additional.
