Cheers to high quality sake and magnificent view of Kokura castle!
Japanese sake is fermented alcohol which has been gaining popularity across the world because of its rich aroma and mild taste. It goes well with any kind of food.
Tamura sake shop is frequently featured by local TV because its owner has been creating sake from local ingredients and at the same time revitalizing the local area. At this store you can taste sake made not only in Kyushu Island but also in all over Japan. What I love about this shop is its workers are so kind and friendly. They create a cozy atmosphere that you will feel as if you were drinking at home.
For lunch you will be served traditional Japanese food at Hoshioka-chaya restaurant from which you can command a great view of Kokura castle.
Kokura castle and its garden takes you back to the Samurai warriors' Edo era(1603-1868).

Asako was a wonderful person to travel with, interesting & well-informed, capable of answering all our queries. We really appreciate her willingness to accommodate our requests & met our needs more than adequately. We shall certainly recommend her services & the services of your company as a result of our experience with Asako. We really enjoyed our day together, the castle visit and the added bonus of a visit to the top of Hakata Station. Thank you very much for this wonderful day.
