2000 years ago, the inhabitants of Nazca developed a system of underground aqueducts to irrigate dry lands that lacked of surface water, which are used by local farmers. visitors may also see various lines etched on the desert floor representing geometric forms. Nazca ceramic and weaving workshop where you can learn about the old technique of making Nazca pottery and textile.

How to get to the city of nazca?
The traditional way of arriving at Nasca is overland in tourist bus from the cities of Lima, Arequipa or Cuzco. Nazca is located just 7 hours to south of Lima. You must take a bus from the company "Cruz del Sur" which will take you to Nazca.
You will be pick up from your hotel tol visit the underground aqueducts that were made by the Nazca culture to irrigate dry lands that lacked of surface water, which are used by local farmers. On the way we will see one of the nazca lines in the shape of a triangle. Here you will be able to be very close of the nazca lines. We will finish our visit in the Textile and Ceramic Workshop, where few families are dedicated to the manufacture of ceramic and weaving using materials and techniques from the period of the Nasca culture. Return to the hotel.
