All the famous sights of London in half a day (and lunch in a famous old pub)
Join me for a walk through Central London. We'll see its most famous sights and I'll be sure to give you an entertaining, concise history of this 2000 year old city.
See iconic and centuries old architecture, including Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, and Westminster Abbey.

We'll cross the Thames river to the South Bank to a cultural hub that includes Shakespeare's Globe theatre, the Tate Modern art centre and Borough food market.
Other sights include St Paul's Cathedral, views of the quirky new skyscrapers of the city, and very importantly. . . the Sherlock Holmes pub! (a pub that features in many original Sherlock stories)
We'll also have some traditional English 'nosh' (lunch) in a famous old London pub. Note that our pub-lunch is not obligatory, this is your tour and we can rest, improvise, eat and drink whenever and whatever you'd like.

A great tour for London first-timers. We briefly covered many highlights of the area. Jason was our guide & he was particularly knowledgeable about the literary history & landmarks we saw. We were ahead of schedule, so we took a nice detour through Soho. Be prepared for a long walk! Wear comfortable shoes. Instead of going to a pub, we asked to have lunch at an open market near London Bridge, which was worth the wait. Overall, I think we ended up visiting many places we would have missed or passed by!
