Enjoy the best of Salvador and Carnival in Salvador
Carnival is our most famous season. Each year has a different date, check bellow the dates.
In Bahia our carnival is different, it is a street carnival, no Samba Schools (escolas de samba and some blocos are very special and exclusive in Bahia: Blocos Afro (Afro Groups of Percussion, such as Olodum and Ile Aye).
This tour will offer you an overview of the city and also a Carnival Experience (one bloco in Barra or in Pelourinho, depending on the day). For Barra experience we will need an extra transportation, probably due to difficult on parking the car in the area.
Come and Experience the real carnival feelings!

Sayuri was a wonderful guide. She took us to out of the way places and filled us with a desire to learn more about the Salvador area. We particularly liked the restaurant she took us to and the Carnival Museum. A memorable day.
