All in One Day: Ihlara Valley - Underground City - Crater Lake with a private guide
This itinerary is intended for those who consider of spending one day with having a great walk in Ihlara Valley, going deep in the must see underground city of Cappadocia and taking splendid photos of your visit to Cappadocia.
It is comprised mainly of driving and walking and exploring natural&historical heritage. A bewildering underground dwelling, Kaymakli; dove cots at the biggest rock cut citadel town Uçhisar; old and evacuated settlement areas; unusually sculpted rocks out of volcanic lava by nature itself; Virgin Marry's rock statue by nature; Almost 4 kms walk in Ihlara Gorge; Churches with frescoed walls. . .
You will experience south to west parts of Cappadocia and walk in an amazingly eroded gorge and get close to the inactive volcano Mount Hasan. Fields of patatoes, grains or strawberries on the fertile lands laden with minerals will be accompanying.
+Meeting at the hotel
+Drive to Uçhisar, and get the best view of the fortress at the head of valley and picture multi-storey pigeon houses carved out of rock in the north.
+Drive southward to Kaymaklı for the exploration of underground city
+Drive to Narligöl, a crater lake.
+Walk almost 4 kms to the old Belisirma Village through the steep cliffs of the gorge and trees and flowers. Visit some of the rock hewn churches and dwellings.
+Lunch at one of the advisable local restaurants in Ihlara Valley.

Meeting Location + Tour Duration
Meeting location: You will be picked up at your hotel. However, please contact your guide for the airport transfer.
End location: At the end of tour, you will be taken back to your hotel.
Duration: 8 hours
Now and then you will be walking to explore things. However, in order to reach at certain points a vehicle is necessary. So, you will be taken to sites through the region by a new A/C Van.
