Come and discover the place where it all began
The visit to Cape Verde's most African and historic city begins with the fortress of São Filipe, where you can learn about the defense system against the pirates who attacked the island.
It follows the ruins of the Sé Cathedral (the first cathedral to be built in all Sub-Saharan Africa), the slave market in Pelourinho, the Banana street that leads to Nossa Senhora do Rosário church, and ends in the convent of São Filipe.
This is a package for lovers of history and culture hitherto found on the monuments of the old city.

Adilson gave a great tour during my several hour layover in Praia, including pickup/dropoff at the airport, and managed to get to both the Praia plateau (downtown area) and the old city even though my flight was late. I thoroughly enjoyed my tour and would highly recommend.
