Travel to Antioquia's Southwest and enjoy incredible scenery and extreme activities
This small town of Antioquia's Southwest is surrounded mainly by coffee plantations, mango and orange groves. It was originally inhabited by an indigenous tribe of the Chamí ethnic group and has always been gifted with the most dazzling panorama. While exploring the sites you will be thrilled as you run into pre-Hispanic Indigenous vestiges such as an incredibly well preserved stone trail and sporadic rock petroglyphs along the way.
Since Támesis is about 3 hours away from Medellín, an early pick-up at your hotel is required to make the most of this adventurous tour. Still, the landscape along the way is amazing and we will make sporadic suggested photo stops or upon request. The hike from Támsesis to the waterfall site takes between 1 and 2 hours depending on the pace of each traveler. After enjoying the waterfall activity or canyoning as it's often called, we'll have lunch near the plaza before returning to Medellin.
