I will show you the way
I will be your back-seat driver, letting you know where to go to see the great sites in Ottawa and Gatineau. We will make regular stops so you can see everything your passengers see or I can do the driving - your call.
Come and see what a great city Ottawa is, from its humble beginnings as a logging town to the beautiful Capital city it is today. Learn about its history and the people who shaped it and contributed to its splendour - Prime Ministers, Governors General, mayors and citizens have all played their part.
I will make this visit a memorable one - one you will be glad you did not miss.
Most tours start in downtown Ottawa but we can start anywhere along the route, whatever is closest to your hotel. The route will include a trip to Parliament Hill, the Rideau Canal, the Ceremonial Route on Sussex Drive - past embassies, the Royal Canadian Mint, the Art Gallery, Notre Dame Basilica, Green Island, the Prime Minister's Residence and Rideau Hall.
We will drive through Rockliffe Park and return to Ottawa through Lowertown and the Byward Market. The drive will continue through centre town, past the National Arts Centre, Ottawa City Hall and onto Queen Elizabeth Drive. We will stop at the Experimental Farm and Gardens for photos then loop around to see the Arboretum, Dowe's Lake, Little Italy and China Town.
A drive through LeBreton Flats, past the War Museum and over to Gatineau where you will see the Chaudiere Falls and Canada's History Museum.
