Discover the deer's head town

Brindisi has always been considered a crossing city and for this reason, often omitted by tourists, but in recents times, the city has much improved, and local governments have begun to focus on tourism. The city is destination of some cruises and also enjoys of an excellent, modern and functional airport. Often those who visit Brindisi, are pleasantly surprised.


The suggested route can start from the port, to continue toward the Roman columns, symbol of the city, the Cathedral Square with the Seminary, the Archaeological Museum, the Balsamo's Lodge, the Temple of St. John, the archaeological area of San Pietro degli Schiavoni, the Granafei-Nervegna Palace. Having more time available, you can visit many other churches in the old town or take the ferry to visit the National Sailor Monument or the church of Santa Maria del Casale, close to the airport.

In this way you can see the most important monuments of Brindisi. Obviously is not all, there are a lot of things to see, but it depends on the time you have for tour. You can ask for a full day visit.


Brindisi is not so big. So we can walk trough the city center where there are the most important monuments. Just if you want to visit the sailor monument we can take the boat (cost 1€ per person), but it depends on how much time do you have.
