I am a MA native and truly enjoy introducing Boston and New England to visitors from all over the world. I love meeting people and ensuring that they have enjoyable and interesting experiences. I have traveled to many countries and am a Certified International Tour Director having been certified at the International Guide Academy in Denver, CO so I have experience leading group tours within the US and abroad.
I love art, architecture, sports, adventure, ethnic food, and music and want to share my favorite spots with visitors to New England. I can create custom day excursions or multi day trips anywhere you would like to go. Whether you would like to ski the Alps or find the perfect Italian cafe in Boston with an afternoon of sightseeing, I can ensure that all details are taken care of and that you will have a wonderful stress free time. Please note that all tours are fully customizable to accommodate any size group (smaller or larger than my standard tours listed here).
My background is in real estate development and construction, and as a licensed builder, I am naturally drawn to unique buildings with interesting stories. Due to the fact that both sets of grandparents immigrated to the U. S. , I love learning about other cultures with their cultures, art, food, and languages.
I speak English, Spanish, and German and can provide tours in any of the 3 languages. Many visitors want to get off the beaten path or see some of New England beyond the Boston historic sites so I can put together custom tours to many places such as:
Newport, RI with the Naval War College, the stunning mansions, and a winery
Portsmouth NH and Newburyport, MA- 2 oceanside cities with lots of maritime and shipbuilding history and terrific shopping and resstaurants
Cape Cod and Martha's Vineyard
The Whaling Museum and an exciting whale watch
The North Shore of Boston including Gloucester, Salem, Ipswich, and other towns with a stop at a fantastic meal of clams, oysters, lobsters, etc
Sports tours such as hiking, biking, kayaking, golf, or skiing
The Kennedys and the Adams- following the lives of the 3 Presidents who were MA natives
Foodie, wine, or brewery tours
Step on bus or limo tours
Corporate event planning with tours
Interesting suburban museums such as the Larz Anderson Classic Car Museum or the Addison Gallery of American Art
As a Certified International Tour Manager, I can create and lead any domestic or international dream multi-day trip that you might be interested in. Are you looking for
a tour of New England from Maine to Newport, RI or a sports oriented vacation? Are you tired of large bus tours where you have to stay on someone else's schedule? I would love to create a truly custom trip for you, your family, or your company.
I love to ski, hike, golf, bike, and play golf so I can take you to the hidden gems such as a seaside golf course or the perfect ski town.
I would be happy to put together a truly custom tour to meet any interests or needs that you may have. I look forward to meeting you!
I am a Certified International Travel Director (CITM) and am a graduate of the International Guide Academy in Denver, CO. I am a member of the Greater Boston Tour Guides Association and the International Association of Tour Directors and Guides.
I am a graduate of Phillips Academy Andover and the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Regional Planning and Econometric Modeling with a focus on international resort development. I have taken additional coursework at Harvard School of Design and participated in a MA state trade mission to Argentina, Brazil, and Chile representing the construction industry.
I will arrange for a hired car with a driver for driving tours due to Boston's traffic which will enable us to easily stop for photos and to have a much more comfortable tour without having to spend time looking for parking.
