Visit the Catholic Church built within a salt mine!

The Salt Cathedral

This is considered today the first marvel of Colombia. Located at the town of Zipaquira; 17 miles north of Bogota, and at 590 feet below the ground. Along the entrance tunnel the 14 stations of the cross emerge with its splendor and simplicity. After the Great Dome, the three naves representing the cathedal among others draw our attention because of the amazing carving work into the salt rock. . .

Please inquiry if you have any special request.

A Recent Review of this tour

Highly recommend this as a destination to go outside the city. Take dog biscuits if you like dogs as there are friendly strays. Nancy was nice, very punctual and friendly.
