For every additional person, please ask me to raise a custom quote for a tour for larger group. The additional cost would be £100 extra per person.
Start time is flexible but default start time is 2pm and the guided tour is about 90 minutes duration. The guide can either meet you in Oxford city centre at 12. 45 or I can meet you at Blenheim palace visitor info arrival desk. Blenheim palace last entry is at 4. 45pm. You should really want to have adequate free time to also visit the various other exhibitions or see the gardens. Woodstock village, located by palace, is also worth visiting
The itinerary is as follows:
I can either meet you at the palace or meet you in Oxford city centre. If you meet me in the city centre, I will provide free return public coach transport from Oxford to Blenheim palace, which is located next to Woodstock village, about half hour away from Oxford. If however you prefer to arrive there by taxi, I can book a taxi at additional cost to yourself to pay the taxi driver (this costs average £25-40 per single journey).
Upon arrival at palace, I will conduct a guided tour lasting approximately 90 minutes of the palace rooms & I will introduce the events of 'Blindheim' battle and the Duke and Duchess of Marlborough's relationship with Queen Anne. We will explore their life & times.
I will then leave you and you will then have free time to visit Woodstock village or see more of the palace. I recommend at least an additional two hours to explore the palace's exhibitions or its gardens. This includes a child play park, maze, butterfly gardens & train around the estate.
