Visit Blackfoot Crossing Museum, Vulcan, and Aspen Crossing & Strathmore.
Note: While in Blackfoot Crossing, no pictures are allowed inside display area as a sign of respect for place and culture. There are plenty of photo opportunities outside as this historic location overlooks the beautiful Bow River. Tours inside are conducted by staff from Blackfoot Crossing.
Lots of itinerary flexibility available, the tour can be adjusted on the go to fit better with your interests as the day progresses.

Depart from pick up spot and travel the Trans-Canada (Highway 1) to Strathmore.
Next, we head out to Blackfoot Crossing - the historic Treaty 7 signing location in 1877. The journey will bring us through vast prairies and farmland until we reach the museum near the Bow River.
We continue over the Bow River on our way to Vulcan. Star Trek fan or not, Vulcan will be a highlight stop for you as the Trek Station and other Star Trek-themed attractions in town are available with plenty of memorabilia to see or purchase. Beam me up, Scotty!
Off to Aspen Crossing, an award-winning train themed destination. A cool place for train enthusiasts and those who love prairie gardens.
If time allows or is visitor requested, options to check out other locations such as:
- The Weir at Carseland Provincial Park.
- First Nations Owned and Operated Boy Chief Trading Post.
- The Strathmore Hotel (locals call it the Green Bar).
- Origins Brewery Strathmore.
- Tasty Candy Store Strathmore.
