A promenade through architecture and art from Rubens to Picasso, Dali and Miro
Betanzos was part of the Provinces of the old Kingdom of Galicia and the family Andrade lived and left signs of its presence in walls, in gothic churches, bridges and hospitals.
The town is also part of the English Way that leads pilgrims to Santiago de Compostela.
In the XX century the town the Naveira brothers - migrants in Argentina being successful there, once they came back they created schools, social buildings, a park and a senior residence.
A visit to the As Marinas Museum will give the visitor the chance to discover among many traditional objects of Galician everyday life , archeological examples of the galician Celt and Roman presence. Probably the hightlight is the Apostolate made by Rubens and his scholars.
Wood made balconies look so attractive although they were actually once created with purposes such as drying clothes or corn.
The visit to the International Center of Contemporary Printmaking where its gallery show us works by Picasso, Dalí, Mirò and Tapies among many others is a must.
Once we leave Coruna, in about 30 minutes we reach Betanzos where we will first visit the >Museum of Marinas. A promenade will follow in the alleys of the medievsl town, contemplating the gothic churches of Santiago, Santa Maria and San Francisco. We will head to the International Graphic Foundation to visit its art gallery and the activity of students in graphic design. Time for a drink before we head back to Coruna.

On mondays the Tour doesn't include both museums being closed so the alternative is a visit of the gardens of El Pasatiempo and panoramic of the river area.
