A half-day private walking tour of the city
See the main sights of Berlin in four hours.
If you just want to walk, we'll concentrate on the historical city center located in former East Berlin with its nice palaces, museums and squares from 13th to 19th century.
And we'll visit the new government area, the Brandenburger Gate and the Memorial to the Murdered Jews in Europe.
Using the public transport system we can also go to the "Checkpoint Charlie", the famous checkpoint between East and West, passing the remains of former headquarters of nation socialist Gestapo, SS and Reichs Main Security Office, and end our tour at the new quarter "Potsdamer Platz" where you will find not only restaurants, coffee shops and a mall but the Film Museum, the Berlin Walk of Fame and movie theaters.

Very comprehensive tour provided in short time available. We really appreciated that Hilke arranged for us to tour the inside of the Reichstag. Hilke's knowledge of Berlin, past and present helped us gain new insight into Berlin. We saw our list of highlights and more. Her explanations made our visit so much more meaningful. Hilke was very friendly and accommodating. Thank you.
