Day trip from the port of Warnemünde or Wismar to Berlin focusing on sites of Jewish interest
A private day trip to Berlin with a focus on sites of Jewish interest. If you are interested in the tour I will forward a comprehensive itinerary including all tour details first. I have many years of experience in organising and guiding those tours.
This tour includes a visit of the old Jewish quarter of Berlin with its stunning New Synagogue, hiding places during the Nazi times and the Memorial for the Murdered Jews in Europe. If you are interested, we'll visit some remains of the NS-dictatorship like the site of Hitlers bunker or the ruins of the Gestapo & SS headquarter as well. Of course, this tour also includes a visit of all Berlin highlights.
If you are A TRAVEL GROUP of more than 6 people the tour can be booked as well - buses for up to 50 passangers available - please forward the approximate group size to quote a price.
If you TRAVEL TO BERLIN ON YOUR OWN or by a transfer offered by the cruise line you can book me for a 6 hour tour in Berlin only - please ask for prices and meeting point
If you are on a cruise ship arriving in Warnemünde a van with driver is waiting at the port for you taking you to Berlin where we will meet.
The tour covers all the main sights of the city with an emphasis on the sites of Jewish interest. See and hear about the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, the old Jewish Quarter, the Jewish Secondary School, Third Reich, former site of Hitler's bunker, the Berlin Wall and the Cold War and visit the Jewish Museum and the New Synagogue. Upon request the former concentration camp Sachsenhausen can be visited as well.

Markus is a wonderful guide. He is very knowledgeable about Berlin and took us to all of the places we wanted to see. He speaks English very well and is very personable. He tailored our tour to accommodate my wife who relies on a manual wheelchair to get around and he assisted me in carrying out this task. We highly recommend Markus.
