6-hour tour in a minivan along the main sights of Potsdam
Visit Potsdam with its picturesque gardens and palaces. The city is close to Berlin and nearly all of it is listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Only 20 minutes away from Berlin's city center you will cross the Glienicke Bridge, known as the "Bridge of Spies", used by the CIA and KGB for spy swaps during the Cold War. Afterwards we will visit Sanssouci Palace and the famous Sanssouci Park area.
Also part of the tour is a visit of the palace of Cecilienhof, which was the last palace built by the German Emperor's family in 1917. After WWII it was in this palace, where Stalin, Truman and Churchill met for the famous peace conference. Close-by is the jail, the KGB used for political prisoners during the times when Potsdam was part of the GDR.
A nice place for our lunch break is the romantic old city center of Potsdam - including the picturesque Dutch Quarter.
Tour along the main sights of Potsdam including several stops and short walks plus a walk through the gardens of Sanssouci Palace. The tour also includes a visit of Sanssouci Palace inside using audio guides. Optional lunch break.

INCREDIBLE Tour by Markus and his driver Angelic. Our visit to Potsdam was filled with information, history and beautiful sites! We couldn't have accomplished this in a large group tour or on our own.To be able to sit in a comfortable van and ask any number of questions, while not having to negotiate traffic and worry about tour ticket times, or wasting precious time waiting and wondering if we had all the group, was priceless!! Markus was sensitive to our needs, knowledgeable and fun!We are sold on TBL!!!
