Enjoy the breathtaking autumn colors in Kyoto with a private guide
Kyoto is very famous for its beautiful autumn foliage. People have enjoyed spectacular reds, oranges, and yellows leaves in various spots since the Heian period. (794-1185)
Leaves start turning colors from late October and the peaks of autumn color is from mid-November to early December.
During the peak of the season, you can enjoy breathtaking night time illumination of the trees in their autumn glory as well as spectacular daytime viewing in many temples, shrines, and parks.
Even if the nature's pallete of fall colors are on their way to add color to trees or shrubs, beautiful gardens of each place entertain the eyes with their own beauty.
This tour is available only from the last week of October to the first week of December. Depending on temperatures during the preceding months, the timing of the autumn leaf season can vary by a few days to one or two weeks from year to year.

Meeting Location + Tour Duration
Meeting location: We will meet at the lobby of your hotel or the entrance of Kyoto Tourist Information Center "Kyo-navi" on the second floor of JR Kyoto station Building.
End location: We will return to the starting point. If you would like to spend more time at the final destination, I can leave you to explore on your own. Help will be provided in directing or assisting you to your next desired location

The tour duration might be affected by the weather or the traffic
We will take a public bus, subway, tram, JR train and also do some walking depending on destinations. A 1-day bus ticket is 500JPY/Person. You can use JAPAN RAIL PASS for JR train.
It is sometimes advisable to take a taxi in order to save time. A taxi can take 4 people at maximum. It costs about 800JPY~2,500JPY to go from one place to another.
