We are leaving your accommodation in Ypres, Bruges or Lille we are driving towards Villers Bretonneux, the Victoria School and museum, Adelaide Cemetery to see the grave of the Australian unknown soldier, the Villers Bretonneux Cemetery and memorial where the dawn ceremony happens on the 25th April.
Le Hamel Australian Memorial.
we are passing near Albert and the basilica with the Golden Madonna.

Lunch

The Lochnagar crater at Pozières and the 1st Australian Division Memorial.
Bullecourt, the Jean and Denise Letaille Museum, the Slough Hat and the Statue in the Australian Park.

Some free time in Ypres before attending the Last Post at the Menin Gate.

Itinerary

Bruges to Villers-Bretonneux is 2 hours driving, an hour from Lille. Le Hamel, Pozieres and Albert is 30 minutes driving, another 30 minutes to Bullecourt, an hour to Ypres.
After the Last Post 30 minutes to Lille or 40 to Bruges
