Full day tour with transportation including the Last Post at the Menin Gate in Ypres


The tour starts at your hotel or Accommodation in Arras or in Lille at 09:00. You will stand in Fromelles at the newly built "Pheasant Wood Military Cemetery", seeing where the mass grave was found. You will visit VC Corner cemetery and the Australian Memorial Park. I will bring towards Ploegsteert and Messines, you will stand near one of the 19 mine craters from June 1917, go down in the crypt where Hitler was and see the Messines visitor centre.

Time for Lunch

We are now driving towards Hill 60 and the Memorial to the 1st Australian Tunneling Cie. From there going to Passendale, Tyne Cot Military Cemetery and Crest Farm. I will show you the German Cemetery in Langemark and bring to Polygoon Wood.

You will have some free time in Ypres before attending the Last Post Ceremony at the Menin Gate.
Around 20:15 we will leave Ypres back towards your accommodation.

Itinerary

Lille Fromelles is 30 minutes driving, another 30 minutes to Ploegsteert. Messines, Hill 60, Passendale and Ypres are all 15 minutes away from eachother.
After the Last Post an hour driving back to Arras or 30 minutes to Lille.
