Luis Barragan is the most important Mexican architect of the XXc and one of the most original worldwide. His house museum reveals his sense of space, color, texture and the ascetic and the beauty of solitude. The Gilardi house is different, the spaces, colors, the great open terraces and the beautiful swimming pool make the place more joyful

A Recent Review of this tour

Hector was an excellent guide full of knowledge regarding Barragan . He answered questions with great clarity and provided details regarding Barragan's architectural style. Hector suggested a terrific place for cafe and snack in between the two properties. He willingly shared general info about Mexico City and also had a great sense of humor. I will definitely schedule a future tour with Hector when I return to this great city!
