Dive into the ancient Rome biking on a simple path through mausoleums, green peaceful meadows on an original Roman street
The tour will start from the bike rental next to the Colosseum and will proceed through the amazing Appian Way park. We will be biking on an original Roman street, "Queen of the Long Roads", built from the 4th century BC.
The scenarios here are far from what most people expect from Rome: a peaceful, green and almost mystic road flanked by old Roman Mausoleums, monuments and often flocks of sheep, the few remaining in Rome whose milk is used to produce the famous Pecorino cheese, key ingredient for Carbonara, Cacio e Pepe and most of the famous culinary monuments of Rome.
We will bike in a slow tempo and have a the chance to make stops when attracted by some stunning view.
