Kid Friendly: Yes. I love watching the faces on children when seeing some of the things they'll see on this tour. They also ask the greatest questions. They must also be accompanied by an adult.
We will be making periodic stops, so you must be able to get in and out of a large SUV.
Maximum travelers: 6
A wonderful way to see the local attractions while looking for moose!
Enjoy an exciting and informative day exploring all four corners of the Anchorage bowl and further, while searching for moose.
In the 4 hours of this amazing private tour you will find out what has kept me here for the last 30+ years. Who knows, you might stay too.
We will start with heading to all four corners of the city while seeing all the popular sights. But keep in mind, this is your tour and I am open to show you and do things that you've wanted to do and make stops you want to make. I am very flexible to the schedule and duration.
After making the rounds in the Anchorage bowl we will drive a short distance south to Beluga Point on the Turnagain Arm for some great photos and also may see some Dall Sheep.
On the way back in we'll stop at Potter Valley Bird Refuge and take a walk on the boardwalk across the valley marsh, which is also great for pictures.

Greg provided an interesting and fact-filled tour of Anchorage as well as highlights in the surrounding area. He's happy to share his in-depth knowledge of Anchorage and is an excellent host as well. He was very flexible with our tour plans (we made some last minute changes and he easily accommodated us) and also great with my mother (who uses a wheelchair). Thanks!
