Walking through the histories of Havana!
To walk through Havana Vieja is to enter into a time machine: to return to the epoch of centuries past, walking among colonial architecture that is mixed simultaneously with the daily life of contemporary Havana.
We will enter into the historical, social and cultural life of this space, where we will encounter a fascinating mix of the old, the new and the future. In this space we find numerous beautiful plazas, each circled by architectural jewels of the colonial period. We will wind our way through the old city, from narrow streets to grand plazas, visiting many of my favorite places which give the neighborhood its deep and distinctive character. Amidst all of these historical sights, we will stop at my favorite brewery for drinks, and when we get hungry we can choose among many options for lunch.
I look forward to sharing my neighborhood with you!

We enjoyed viewing Cuba as we entered in topside on cruise ship. Seeing the classic cars & colorful old Havana. Very smooth thru customs & inspection. Very happy to meet our guide Reynier in the square across from port. We conversed a few times prior to our trip & I felt like I met an old friend. He showed us all around & was quite knowledgeable. My husband loved talking to him about the history/politics of Cuba. I loved the people. The children playing in the square & later soccer in the rain.
