During our visit to the Acropolis Hill we will make short stops on top of the Hill to admire first the surroundings, like natural caves (caves for worship), the theater of Dionysus (maybe the oldest theater in the world), the ancient healing center, Asclepium, the Hill of Pnyx (the birthplace of Democracy), the Hill of Philopappos (with a mausoleum of its top) and the ancient Athenian Agora (market place). Then it's time to pass through the monumental main entrance of the religious center of goddess Athena, the Propylaia.
Behind of Propylaia we will take a photo in front of the most famous classical temple in Greece, the Parthenon. Except of the Parthenon we will visit also the Erecheion temple, with its 6 statues of females dancers, the Caryatids, that replaced the columns of the porch. In the end we will stop next to the temple of Athena Nike, the smallest temple of the sanctuary, to explain the term Nike and its connection with the worldwide known athletic brand.
