A journey back in ancient Athens
Visit of the Acropolis of Athens, one of the most recognizable monuments of the world. On top of the hill we will see the architectural masterpieces of the 5th century BC. We will walk through the Propylaea, the ancient monumental entrance of the sanctuary and see the Temple of Nike. We will stand in front of the Parthenon, the symbol of the city of Athens and see the Erectheion with it's famous Karyatides. We'll have a view of the whole city and the monuments around the hill of Acropolis. Walking down we will see and walk on Mars Hill the place where Apostle Paul delivered his famous speech. We'll then walk through the Ancient Greek Agora, once the heart of the city. We will see the best preserved ancient Greek temple of Hephaestus and the political center of the ancient city. The end of the tour will find us in Plaka where you can get a feeling of the old city of Athens.

We can make the tour in the morning all year around. From April to October the tour can be made in the afternoon to avoid the crowds, if you don't mind the high temperatures (June to September)
Walk or transfer from the meeting point to the Acropolis area and back. Walking the rest of the day. Please note: The Acropolis tour includes a considerable amount of uphill walking and numerous steps.
