Explore Zurich's Past and Present
Zürich is Switzerland's largest city and economic center. It is also a beautiful, historically rich city beckoning to be explored on foot! Please come along on this private walking tour and discover the winding streets and learn the history of this former Roman Toll station. Your private tour begins at Zurich Main Station, one of the busiest stations in Europe and starts with a walk down the Bahnhofstrasse. We then head into the Schipfe neighborhood and crossover the Limmat River into the heart of the old town, ending with the Grössmunster Church and Fraumünster churches. If you like we can also take the short ride on the Polybahn for an exceptional view of Zürich. The sights include, the Swiss National Museum, the Urania Tower, Lindenhof, some of the ancient Roman Ruins, the Rathaus, Grössmunster Church, St. Peter's Church, Vladimir Lenin's former home and the birthplace of Dadism.

If you like we can skip some of the above sites and take a ride on the DolderBahn to get an exceptional view of Zurich. Each tour is unique, some tours, depending upon the pace may not cover all the sites listed in the itinerary.
Meeting Location + Tour Duration
Meeting location: If your hotel is centrally located I will gladly meet you in the lobby of your hotel. If not, we will meet inside the Zurich Main Station, underneath the large blue angel near the center, inside the large main hall.
End location: Lake Zurich, Grossmünster and Fraumünster Churches in the old town are the standard end locations. Of course this will depend upon our starting point.
