Relaxing time on the castle moat
Yanagawa is about 50 km southwest from Fukuoka. It is a historical castle town, famous for boating on the castle moats and special eel rice. You will find it relaxing to be on a boat which an excellent boatman navigates with a sole bamboo stick. You will enjoy seasonal plants and flowers as well as river creatures, not to mention to boatman's talking and singing.
After returning to Fukuoka downtown, you will do some shopping and sightseeing.
