Driving through the Seine valley to see some curiosities
A visit to Giverny is always a great experience. Unique in the history of gardens because it is the only one designed by a painter. Monet moved here in 1883 and fell in love vith the house he first rent and later on bought when he could finally sell more paintings. He created two gardens, the first one with flowers and the second one, often called the japonese garden or the water garden with small bridges and the famous pond with water lilies. You will feel like walking through a painting. If you like, we can also visit the museum of american impressionists. And after a walk through the lovely village where you can have lunch, we'll proceed with the car to Vetheuil where Monet first lived. On the way, we'll admire the beautifull landscape and we'll make a stop on the top of a cliff to get the best view of the Seine river. I'll show you other curiosities on the way back.
A great tour combining culture and nature.
